Renee Schuckman
Manager
YogaRenee is her nickname. She has been teaching group fitness classes for over a decade. Well known in the community for her Yoga & Pilates Inspired Classes. Renee likes to instill positive energy and motivate her students creating the feeling of empowerment. She holds a B.S. in Nutrition & Business and is certified in Massage Therapy. Trained in Yoga, Pilates, Schwinn Indoor Cycle, Personal Trainer & Wellness Coach for ARBONNE International.
Her classes are always different, incorporating modalities to gain strength and balance. She spices things up with the use of props. Renee loves teaching all populations. She has a passion to help others learn the power of movement, this is evident in her classes. She educates and challenges her clients to improve their overall fitness. Renee teaches with an uplifting, joyful approach through Asana and Pranayama. Health and Fitness is a lifestyle and her Yoga classes strengthen & rejuvenate the whole body bringing the peaceful calm and serenity of daily stress into balance through mindful movement. Kathy Francis
Yoga & Pilates Instructor
Kathy Francis is a yoga & pilates instructor who has dedicated her career to service in education, wellness, and safety. She embraces a healthy lifestyle through yoga, Pilates, and meditation. Transferring this knowledge from generation to generation remains a guiding focus of Kathy’s work. She has been a yoga and Pilates practitioner for decades and enhanced her skills through training and certifications in yoga, functional aging, and Zen Barre. Kathy earned a Master of Science (MS) in Management with the Johns Hopkins University Police Executive Leadership program and Certificate of Completion in Crisis Leadership in Higher Education from the Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Certifications: CPR/AED, Registered Yoga Teacher RYT200, Functional Aging Institute, and Zen Barre Instructor
Annica Hedman-Marshall
Personal Trainer
Annica has a B.S. degree in Athletic Training and has been certified as a Personal Trainer for twelve years. Before she came to the United States 17 years ago, she played professional basketball for ten years in the highest league in Sweden and traveled throughout Europe and the United States with the National Team.
Annica strives to educate her clients on how to integrate exercise and nutrition to reach their goals and also how to fit it into their lifestyles. She never thinks it’s too late to start exercising and getting into healthy habits. She believes that to become truly healthy and happy you have to exercise, and her job is to help make it part of your lifestyle.

Kathy Nally Baker
Fitness Instructor
Kathy holds a B.S. in Physical Education from West Virginia University and an MS in Exercise Physiology, specializing in Cardiac Rehabilitation. She is a former gymnast and track and field athlete who has enjoyed the benefit of working with several elite coaches and Olympic athletes for training in dance, core stability strength, plyometrics and weight/strength training programs. She has coached various sports for over 20 years. She has also taught in the fitness industry for more than 20 years – “Yes, I remember leg warmers!!!”
Kathy loves teaching to all populations, helping people realize their potential through goal setting, providing modifications and challenging them to reach their goals! She has experience with cycling, strength training, boot camp, circuit type classes, kickboxing, Pilates and yoga. Kathy uses a variety of equipment, “themed” cycle rides, all types of music and has a positive, energetic attitude. Exercise is about having fun and living each day to the fullest! She is the mother of two and enjoys running in her “spare time.”

Julia Snyder
Front Desk Team
Julia loves Fit! She started coming to the gym when she was 14 years old and joined the team in 2018. She has worked in the Kid Care room and at the front desk. Her bubbly personality is an asset to Fit In Boonsboro. Come in most mornings and be greeted by Julia!
Heidi Hartman

Heidi is a long time member of Fit In Boonsboro, joining just months after our opening. She has participated in many challenges and performs most of our administrative duties at the front desk. Call Heidi with any billing or membership questions.

Emily is our Kid Care Specialist! Kid Care is now open Monday through Friday 8:30am to 12:00pm, with Emily caring for your children while you take a class or work out on the equipment downstairs.
